Cron Jobs

Scheduling cron jobs in vPanel.

Cron Jobs (vPanel → Cron Jobs) let you schedule commands to run automatically on a recurring schedule — for example running a script every night, or a maintenance task every hour.

How it works

Add a cron job by specifying the schedule (minute, hour, day, month, weekday) and the command to run. The job is added to your account's own crontab and runs as your account user.

Common uses include running application scheduled tasks (such as a CMS cron), sending scheduled emails, cleaning up temporary files, or triggering backups.
